Whats R,RT and others.

What are the different versions of the MM "R"?

Was there a plain R made or what are the letters of the "R"?

Thinking of trying to find a "R" because when I was I kid that was the first tractor I drove.

Dad used MM when I was a youngun.

We always just called the one we had a R.

Don't remember for sure what we had 42 years ago.

I live justa few miles from there.

Might try to catch it next year.

That show happens sometimes and it's over before I even know about it.

Don't know where it's advertized but here locally we don't here anything about it in the local papers.

I and most all other farmers around here do not get the MM magazines but would maybe go if we knew about it or were reminded of it a week or two before.

Local attendance would be better if ads were posted somewhere.

By what your saying we had a RTU.

Narrow front with two wheels.

Now I know what to look for in ads.

I got 3 old IHs, now it's time for the MM.

Dad traded the one MM U for a Farmall 560 in 1959 and that was the start of the change from MM to IH for us.The other U was traded on a 460 in 1961. Traded the RTU for a 350 in 1965
And he sold the ZB with wide front in 1967 the last of the MM for us.
