Hello, I am looking for a starter, mine has quit and there is no parts availible for it
the starter number on the tractor is delco 1109475
the book shows it takes delco 1109609
looking for all options, the place that rebuilds starters said nothing to fix it, find another.
I just got a 2-16 plow for and really need a starter fast. Also would be intrested in a crank, for it also, mine has the piece on the crank, but nothing else.I know oliver used the same motor but didnt know about ring gears and starter drives. Also neighbor has a stationary generator with a hercules engine, but dont what what would interchange. Thanks
Shawn

I would call Zimmerman's at 717-738-2573. They are big into the little Oliver crawlers that use that same engine.

I don't know what parts your starter needs, but I had the starter on Mom's BG (The 1 row version of BF) fixed by a local rebuilder just a year or so ago and I thought it was hopeless-The brushes had worn to the point their mounting screws had gouged the commutator.

There is also a guy on Ebay that sells drives for those starters from time to time. (TrioDiode)
