I recently purchased a MM 3 point sickle mower on an auction. It has 7ft bar,pitmanless drive,category 1 3pt,in very nice cond. I cant find a tag on it. Looks like painted brown from factory. Can anyone tell me the model number on this so I can find a manual for it???

MM made at least 2 pitmanless mowers.

The first was something like a J-3 or JO-3. It used a tubular third link to raise the outer end of the cutter bar.

The second was the J-7 or J-7A. (I don't know the difference that was made between J-7 and J-7A, unless it was that the J-7A had a seperate hydraulic cylinder to lift the sickle.) A standard 3rd link pinned to a heavy upside down V-shaped sheet metal cover and its main frame was a 4" round tube. I own a J-7A. It has no tag on it either. I've been looking for a replacement sickle cutterbar for mine for a long time. If you know a source for one-I think the sickle is same for either mower as well as the MM pitmanless side mount (SM) mowers.

I have a 6 foot bar that I might sell, or the whole mower. The bearings are out on the sickle head. Where are you? I'm northern Iowa.
