Hi,

In need of a clylinder block for a uni-tractor engine, v206b-4. Also, how far can they be bored out? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a v206 Unitracator engine rebuilt ready to run. Needs radiator. Let me know if you are interested in buying.

The offer sounds good, but I must decline. Me and my wife have a baby girl on the way and funds are going to be tight for the next eightteen years. LOL I'm gonig to have to go at this slow. Let me know if you come come across a cylinder block though. Thanks again!!

I have 4 blocks, 2 from a 445 and 2 from a uni. I also have the maching pistons and heads.

I have a uni-tractor engine for sale. It has been restored and ready to run. It is a 206-V4 with horzontal intake and exhaust valves.

Hello Mr. Aiken,

I see on your post you have some blocks and pistons from a uni. Are they standard size or oversize? Also what kind of shape are they in? And how much would you sell them for? I really only need one block and pistons.I think the other ones are salvageable. I'll know more when I see the engine at the tractor club. Thank you very much for the info!

Those same blocks were used on the 445,335,4star and jetstar tractors And of course, other uniharvestors. It shouldn't be hard to find one. You could check with some of the parts suppliers on the page at www.minneapolis-moline.com

O.K. now my question: Why do you need to know how far you can bore them out? Do you need more power at the Thresher?

If you are fixing an engine that seized from water damage, you can re-sleeve your block with repair sleeves.

Hi TRK,

Thanks for the info. I have one of the blocks that could use a good bore out, but the other one I think is shot. The corrosion I think is just too deep. I did not know if those blocks were sleeveable or not, so that's why I asked. YT offers a .040 rebore kit for the 445, etc so I asked them if that kit would work. I have a LD picker-sheller on it, and it is a restoration project. Heck of an undertaking!

I have a L with part of an LD picker sheller on it too. I fixed the Uni to run in Summer 2001, but the LD is pretty far gone to fix. I knew of a combine on another junker, but enquired this summer about it, and a tree had fallen across it.

Hey TRK!

My LD is all there. the grain tank is rotted out on the bottom, but some sheet metal work should fix that. When the machine was taken to the auction house, it was not emptied out so moisture has collected in the crop waste. I live in NC and thought it would make an interesting project. Call me crazy, the rest of my club does!
