Just got a G1000 propane. Need to know which valve is vapor and which is liquid, top or bottom one?

Also I need to replace the Lp guage. Any advice on this procedure and/or where to get another one?

I have been looking for a usable Operator's manual for the G1000 but have not come across one yet.
Thanks,
John

Top valve = vapor Lower valve = Liquid. Same on a G1050 and G1350 also that I had manuals for but sorry no manual for the G1000. Keep checking ads and ebay or contact one of literature sellers. Your local LP dealer should have the guage or can get it and they might even put it on for you if you need to pump off the tank but as said make sure it's drained if you need to change the whole guage out.

The gauge on my 670 was held in by 4 screws and had a square cross section o-ring behind it for sealing. I got the o-ring at the local propane dealer.

My only advice is make certain you bleed down the tank completely before you start unbolting things.

Not sure on G1000 but my M670-LP the top valve is vapor.
Contact your loca propane dist. on the gauge they are probably pretty standard, most I have seen have a magnetic coupling thru the tank and the gauge just glued on.
