Has anyone ever heard of a UTZ with a combination narrow/wide front factory?? I have one that has the wheels on the wide front now but they could be taken off and put om the narroe front and by removing just 4 bolts the wide fron assembly slips off. It looks factory but Im not sure.

Are you sure about the model UTZ? haven"t heard of the "Z" character which describes the front end.

It sounds like you are describing my UBU and Dad"s UTU that I grew up on. The second U indicates "Universal" or 2 wheel narrow front end.

What these have is the 2 wheel narrow front with an "add on" wide front end. (Our Schwartz were common but other manufacturers made them). The wide front bolts to the front end of the tractor, then move wheels to the wide front and an attachment from the narrow front steers the wide front.
