I"ve never actually seen a 707 but I think they had had shorter wheel base. Did the 707 have the adapter between the engine and transmissiom? If not this would account for the shorter wheelbase.

The 707 still had the adapter but MM cameout with an optional shorter wheel base by altering the reach on the frontend.

The 707 also had a dry element air cleaner and suposably improved shifting. Im not sure what was different exactly, but my friend has a nice original 707 and it does seem to shift a bit different than my MF 97 (g705).

They are basically the same tractor except for the fenders and grill. The 707 has sheet metal to resembles the style used on the later G900 and G1000 tractors. 707s were only made for one year.
