Whats the main difference between the two? Was told i was loockin at a 605HD but it has 10a4210 heads on it. I was later told that it was not a 605HD. 605HDs had 10a4231 heads. I dont know. Please inlighten me

Doug, you are correct, the 4210's are a 7 bolt head and the 4231's are a 9. I have run both heads and cant tell any difference.

If I remember correctly, the 4231 heads have more studs holding them down than the 4210's.

The 4210 and 4231 heads are the same except 4231's are square port and 4210's have round ports. Some of the hd 605's had 4210's. I have had several 605's and there is little or no difference.
