Big Mo 500 Wheels and tires

Whats the correct Tires on big mo 500. Construction or Farm? 5 Rib on Front? And are rims painted New yellow or silver? Any help would be great. Brad

Brad, I would have to agree with Kelvin on this as far as painting goes. Really the big mo 500 along with its counter parts the 400 and 600 where really built for industrial use. But let me make myself clear that doesn't mean they can't be farm tractor too. As far as tires are concerned depends greatly on what you are going to do with the tractor. Plow with it and general farm use? Better go with ag tires or to show and stay to gravel or hard roads go industrial tires with it like what Kelvin has road grader tires. If you want to show it well it depends too on how you want it to look. Politically correct would be the industrial look. I am not totally sure but I think they where all silver on the belly and lower castings including the rear wheels and yellow on the sheet metal and front wheels.
As far as my big mo 400 military being painted the way it should from the factory it is not. I am going with the military safty yellow and stenciling it as though it was driven straight from the base.

BUT I can't say it enough paint it they way you want to and fun with with it.

My Big MO 400 had 'roadgrader' 14.9-28 rears and 6.00-16 3 rib fronts. I also have a Jetstar2 with loader & shuttle trans. It would require a much wider front tire to fit its rims.
I painted the rear rims on my Big Mo silver. Since its an industrial and for a fee MM would paint it any color the customer specified, paint it how you like. My Jet2 had a good coat of red at one time.
