Was a three point hitch optional on a ZB or Z standard, or is there an aftermarket available ?

Could anyone who has this setup give me some casting #s or part #s? I just bought a nos setup like this with a nos mower. All still wired together, any help with the 3 point stuff is appreciated. Thanks, John

Thanks guys for your response, I suppose the 335 and 445 were developed just in time to take advantage of old Harry"s patent running out.

I have a UB with a three point. It has MM on the arms, I beleave it to be a MM add on kit.

MM sold a kit for adding 3 point to the earlier ZB's and UB's. It came wired together in a bundle and was as far as I know only available in category 1. It would not have worked on A ZA or U because the seat was in the way of the top link.

I was told 3point was factory installed on about the last 50 ZBs that were made. Not in my ZB parts book, though.

I don't think the late ZAS (There was no ZBS) ever had factory 3 point as it would have seriously interfered with the operator position on the tractor.

There were some pictures of a well-made homemade 3 point on a ZB in an issue of the MM corresponder 2-3 years ago. I don't know if anyone ever offered a bolt-on 3 point kit. I know they are not in catalogs now. I guess one could be modified to work. . .
