I have a problem. I broke the starter drive housing on my UTU, but when I took a starter off of another UTU the housing was different. The one I took off of the earlier U was about 1 inch longer and had a bigger drive assembly with 1 extra tooth. Any help would be great. I would love to know where I could find or order one. Thanks, Tyler 270-235-7711

Appears you have a 1952 0r newer U. I 1952 MM changed the starter and ringear and a few other things. Probably you have a 1107977 starter with the shorter nose cone and 1 extra tooth. You need a 1913587 bendix. A starter off a UB is the same. Is your UTU 12v? Does your side hood tin have slots in it or is it smooth like a UB? What year is it?
