Here is the part number I used in a 206 overhead valve (gasoline) head: NAPA 211-2406. Had to grind the head down a bit to get good valve/seat contact. 1.50 dia. head. approx. $5.00
each.
It is an exhaust valve, usually a bit harder than an intake valve. I only used them in the intake positions.

The exhaust was noticeably smaller than the exhaust, I am still looking for a suitable substitute intake valve.

If someone knows of a better substitute for the $17-$20 MM valves let me know.
thanks!
Kelvin

HI I have used the 1970's era Ford 400 Exhaust valve in both the intake and exhast ports of the MM 206. It's the same stem lenght and diameter. The valve just clears the head when you install the new seat. Worked real well for us. I have the Napa Number at the store.

Could you get that number and post it for us?

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies guys. I was able to grind and re-use the exhaust valves. I don't know if opening up the valve seat for a 1.500 dia. valve is the setup for performance or not. That size valve seems to shroud the chamber a lot and may actually cut performance. Only a flow bench would tell for sure.

Open the exhaust bowl to fit the Chevy valves.
