I have a 206 block but it the real main bearing holder is broke in half. I was wondering if I replace it if I would have to rebore all mains for the crank (incase they are different sizes) I am looking for a rear main if anyone has one if it will work to just install it.

Any questions ask
Matt

Matt, I think you should call us about your crankcase, some things you need to check before you buy any parts, 920 295 3278, Dale

I have some crankcases and some rear main cages for 445 and jetstar 3 that should be the same.

I don't have one for a Jet3. There should be one out there with a thrown rod or something though.

I did have to have a 206H crankcase line bored a month ago because the front bearing bore closed up. It cost me $315. That is a lot being unexpected and all but not the end of the world either. (The thrust bearing wore out and the timing gear was rubbing on the front bearing saddle, causing it to heat.)

The only way to know if just 'putting it in' would work is to get one and try assembling the crank in the block. If it spins free on all 3 mains it will be o.k. The good thing is that bearing holder is round and fits a round bore in the crankcase so there is a good chance that all three bearing saddles follow that centerline too. Good Luck.

Guys, I will get the part number for you and what happened is a rod took out hte cam and crank which broke the real bearing mounting holder. I am in need of a crank and rear bearing mounting holder. Let me know where you guys are located and contact info.

Matt ,are you meaning the the piece that unbolts and also has the crank oil seal in it ? do you have a cast number off of it ? I'd think this piece should be the same for the 206 and 226 engines at least. If so might have one laying around, if thats the part you need. joe
