I found a 3 point hitch MM mower. I was wondering how good they were and if guards and sections were still avalible? also I could not find a model number on it. It is belt drive with a 7 foot blade. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks Chris

I would like to find a manual for this mower. I am going to pick it up today. The bracket that lifts the blade has been modified and I would like to see how it is supposed to be. Also the grass board is gone so If anyone has a operator or parts manual for it let me know. Thanks Chris

This one has the sheet metal triangle piece that the top link attaches to. It also has a bracket with a pulley attached to the left hand threepoint link, that has been modified, I figure that this must be what raises the blade when the 3-point is raised. I am in need of a mower to mow around fences and ditch lines, and I thought it would look good behind my Jetstar 3 if you could still get parts for it.I have never seen a moline 3-point hitch mower nor have I heard how good they mow. I no some of the older mowers were just better than others. If any one out there has mowed with one give me your thoughts. Thanks Chris

I know MM made the J-3 and J-7(or J-7A)

The J-7(A) had a sheet metal triangle for the third link mount, the J-3 had a bar that hooked to the 3rd link mount on the tractor, pivoted on the mower frame and the back end actually lifted the outer end of the sickle when the 3point was raised.

I think the sections are like International used, but I am not sure.
