Have you tried this site and or valuebilt. I know the catalog I have has a list for starters for the UBE and UBC not sure if they are what you need

I have one off of a diesel, I am not sure which you have or if they are the same... can anybody answer that ?? I know it needs to be rebuilt but I think I know an amish guy who would tackle it. I would want to send it there and have him look at it if you think it would work for you.

The diesel starter probably won't fit. My repair manual shows 10A2999 or Delco 1109236 for the diesel and 10A3749 or Delco 1107605 for gas t. fuel and LPG. The diesel starter shows to mount with 3 studs while the others mount with one pointed end bolt in the side. Are you sure yours is unrepairable? When I got my UBU-LP it needed help and I took the starter apart and found it had thrown the solder from the communtator where the armature wires attach. I got a big soldering iron and reflowed the solder and it has worked for years, If I have to do it again I will probably find some low temp silver solder to see if that works better.

The part number has to be 1107605 or 1107659
not diesel either.
My end plate is busted and the part that holds the arm to the brush is on it. the communtator looks really bad as well.
