The tractor has around 6100 hours on it, the paint is good for the year, it is a 1969, duel outlets and a 3-point, tires are good, gas, wide-front, over all good condition. Whats it worth??
p.s. the guy selling it wants $4,600.
p.s.s. are these good tractors, whats some stuff on them to look out for?
Thanks a million!! Matt Wedeking

Good Super 670's are kind of hard to find. I looked for a good one for 2 years and finally settled on one. I have seen quite a few good ones and not so good one bring from 3500 to 4500 on various auctions. Keep in mind this is in central IL and they can be few and far between. Just my thoughts

I bought a pretty straight '66 model gas Super a couple years back for $1200. Needed the heads re-worked and rear tires. Spent $350 on a pair of 80% tread 18.4x34 Co-Op tires and about that much more on new valves, gaskets and machine shop work.

Watched another one go at auction for $1800 not too long ago. It was a bit rough cosmetically, but ran good and had good rubber.

We had a 1965 670 gas (you didn't say if this is a gas or diesel). Sold it at auction in 1987 in very good condition, less than 3000 hours- brought $2,300. It was a good tractor, only complaint might be transmission speeds. For instance, plowing in 2nd high was pretty fast, pull the ta and it was too big a reduction. Plow in 4th low- a little slower then 2nd hi and you couldn't reduce speed for tough spots (torque already in low). My 2 cents, sawtooth
