HELLO GENTS. Ihave ran across a gtb on lp that has a strange looking round cannister on the side of the tractor near the regulator. It says marvel mystery oiler. Anyone know what this thing does?

I have a '49 GTB/LP, it also has this Marvel Mystery oiler. I tried to find a source for the parts, but was told there are no more. It's not needed, but if yours doesn't have a big dent in the side of the can, I'd like to buy it. John

It's an "upper cylinder lubricator".

It was a marvelous mystery to tell if this stuff did any good. Usually just a carbon builder in combustion chamber.
