Rims for za.

Has anyone cut centers out of factory 10x38 rims on a za and put them in new 12x38 rims. have bin looking for a set of used rims but cant find. Herd the centers will fit but they are really tight to get in. Has anyone had much luck and is there any advice that could help.

Yes the JD rims are the same...early A I believe. My dads ZA has the same rims and he never changed them, has the JD1290R part number on them.

Hi, I had a tire repair place replace the rusted out rim on a U302. What they did was to cut the old rim off my center and welded a brand new one on. They cut the old rivits off and welded the new one on in those holes. They did an excellent job. Only problem-it cost about $300. $200 for the rim, the rest labor.

Never did 38s but put the MM centers in a set of Miller Tire's blank 36s once. The disks riveted in the originals though. Some are spotwelded in and that would be more trouble. Make sure your welder takes the time to get the disk true or they will wobble.

I have a ZB that has 11" John Deere rims on it. I don't know which model, I bought them at a show. You might want to keep looking as I am sure other make tractors used those same rims.
