I am looking for a shop/service manual for a 1935 MM Twin City KTA with a KEA engine. I have posted ads up on different sites but have had no luck. Any condition considered but good condition preferred. Anyone got one?

Could I get away with a manual that describes the KEC engine? Are the specs the same?

Fungus, I purchased a photo copy several years ago from who ever it was then in charge of the historical archives for MM, Oliver, White equipment. I don't have their number and name handy but what I got from them is copy of "Instruction Book Number R740C" for KT,KTA, & MTA Universal tractors. Cover also says "Kombination Tractor". It doesn't give torque specs but gives you plenty of information on what is in the engine and how to take care of it and overhaul it. It even shows splitting the tractor and adjusting the clutch. It doesn't say if it shows the KEA or KEC. Wasn't the KEA the later engine as used in the Universal J and MT, MTA also? Manual I have for MTA shows the KEA engine. Hopefully someone can tell you where to get a copy. Have you asked local AGCO dealer?

I think that what little repair info on the KTA was in the owner/operator manual. If its like the JTU manual, it leaves a lot to be desired. As far as I can tell, there are any torque specs listed in the JT manual, for instance.

The KEC engine is similar bore and stroke. I'm pretty sure the top end specs would be about the same. the bottom ends are probably different as I am thinking the KEA had babbited, shimmed rods.
