a little help please

This is my situation - My Grandpa recently passed away leaving a lot of older tractors and machenery around - I have a farming background and the opertunity to farm just under 500a is there. I am young and would gradually work into this over about 3 years - is it worth keeping a 5-star LP and a super 670 LP to use as a second tractors or should i sell and update - estate wants 1000 and 1500 - also just for kicks - theres 2 model s combines that i could make 1 good one out of - just wouldn"t have orig. engine - worth doing for fun / worth anything ?
any help appreciated - thanks

KEEP THEM YOU'll wish you did later on down the road if you sell em'. If you had to pick one the 670 is a much better more capiable tractor with more power but still can handle small jobs.

For those prices, I'd keep them around if they are in working order or close too working order and LP is readily available. Both tractors are great general use tractors. The 670 Super would be the one to keep if you can only afford one of them and all else is equal between the tractors. The 670 will fair better hydraulics.
