i have a marvel schwebler tsx97 i think carburator on my Z moline and it used to be that the tractor would run for about 10 minutes then die put on the choke and start back up then it was it would run but sputter and keep running then i cleaned the carb and the problem got worse so i rebuilt the carb and now as soon as i start the tractor it starts to sputter and ive played with every adjustment screw and tryed with the choke and it still is sputtering i dont know what to do any more i also cleaned the fuel lines and replaced a fuel filter with no luck i need some help first tractor and dont know awhole lot yet ZinMN

could be coil and or condensor causing that too...even if its mag fired.

1st thing to do is pull the plug out of the bottom of the carb, make sure there is sufficient fuel flow to support the engine, I'd try "CAREFULLY", spraying carb cleaner around the intake and carb mounting to see if it improves the running, if it does, you have a vacumn leak.
