I am working on a couple of G-VI's. On both the ignition-light swithch is gone and a off-on toggle switch was installed for the ignition. The light wires have been left to do nothing. Would like to put back as near original as possible. The correct switch is not available through Agco. What have you done to replace it and use the generator voltage regulator (L) light wire and keep it working as intended? Have you used a switch that is available at the local parts store? Thanks Boyce

i have ran accross a switch in the standard ignition parts book at work that would work if it's like the one on my UTU. it's called a heater switch, but has off, ign, ign/heat, and heat only positions. if you like i can get a part number for you. just sub the light for heat and you got it!

Karl, Thanks would like to have the switch #. Went to Texas over the week end and found a switch in a junk yard. Up to then didn't even have one to compare to. The one I have isn't like the UTU. The G-VI has a switch with a key and on the back is a resister coil for dim lights. Thanks for answering. Boyce

standard ignition part number hs511. not a perfect match, but a similar design to some of them. not a normally stocking part number either.
