I am restoring a 1946 ZTN with a U front end out here in California. Is there any one out there that has a restored 1946 ZTN or a ZTU? I would really like to talk to one that does. A close up picture of several areas would really be helpful. Just send me an email with your phone number and I will be happy to give you a call. [email protected]. The guys on this site have been very helpful so far. Jerry

Hay, I've restored a 1940 ztu a few years ago and still have it. A lot of the parts on the tractor should be the same. Let me know what you need. Would be glad to help if I can.

Jerry, I have a restored '38 ZTU. I will be glad to help any way I can, but I don't have a digital camera.

What parts do you have questions about?

I need serveral questions answered. The first is about the instrument panel. I am not sure I have the right panel nor do I know where exactly or how it mounts. Three questions:(1) My panel has 2 gauges (Temp and Ampers) with a push botton start and a keyed ignition with a piano hinge on the back. Does that sound correct? (2)I know the panel mounts to the back of the battery box somehow, but since the battery box on my Z is long since gone, (I am building a new one, thanks to Wendell Everett who sent me pictures and dimensions) not sure exactly how or where the panel should mount. (3)I think the oil pressure gauge mounts to the top of the transmission, but how or where? Should there be some kind of bracket? If I had a good close up picture or 2 of the gauge and the oil tube route, I am sure I could figure it out. Hope this is clear enough. I would be happy to recieve a call anytime. I can be reached at 209-526-8810. Jerry
