Block casting # Ke-188
Crankcase casting # Ke-151F
Dad had this tractor for years and put pwer steering on from an old Crysler car. Any Help would be nice.

5 year ago one guy told me that that engine was made for 3 years and the tractor I sold back in 68 if I would still have had it would have given sight unseen in any condition way more for it than it had cost me when I bought it or got out of it when I sold it, and that is just because of the head

Years ago I had a U that I was told when I bought it that it was a 44, It had the single block with the single head, was a gas tractor but head was replaced with a LP Gas head, put out 53HP on dyno. Tractor also had hydrolics and the live PTO setup installed. Was a narrow front end but had the full crown fenders, never seen anouther like it since I got rid of it

When you mean solid, I believe you mean one piece. I believe the single cast head was only found on the KT, KTA and early U's.
