I have a 1950 MM ZAU. When I change oil and filter I put 4 qt. of oil in the crank case and the dip stick reads full. I`ve heard that 7 qts. is full for this tractor. The dip stick looks original and in good shape. What should I do?

Make sure the dip stick is not out of a U tractor. I have always put 7 qts in my 1950 ZAU. Dip stick for a ZAU should be 9.5 inches from sealing base to the end of stick. 11.5 inches overall. Should be 2.5 inches from end of dip stick to the full mark. Hope this helps you out. good luck.
