What did you use to pump the oil into the gallery?I have an inline eletric fuel pump from my old bronco II,supposidly its a high pressure pump to feed the fuel injection rail..I hooked it up to a funnel and pored 30wt down to it and hooked up a fuel pressure gage to it...it buried 10 psi real easy..perhaps your idea is better,simpler....what did you use??..STEVE

Hi Steve!

The most common thing I have seen is a modified propane or freon tank. The tank is modified to add and fill port and a drop tube to pick-up the oil at the bottom of the tank. Then air pressure (30-40 psi) is applied to the tank to force the oil out through the drop tube port. Make certian the tank is clean on the inside.

I use a double acting hydraulic cyclinder. I stroke the cylinder to full extension and fill the cylinder with oil. I then hook the air hose to the opposite side of the cylinder and force the oil back out. I went the double acting cylinder route because I had one and I did not have a welder to modify a tank. I have a valve on the air side of the cylinder to regulate the flow and I keep the air pressure around 40 psi.
