I have a one bottom Moline plow sitting in the fence row, and I would like to know what year it is. It has a seat and a lever on each side to adjust the wheel height. It also has a lever in front of the seat to adjust the angle of the hitch. It has a plate that seems to be bracing for the seat support, that says Moline Plow Co. Is there any way to tell what year it was made? Is there a serial number on it anywhere? Thanks for any help.

It's not the typical "yearbook-calendar", it's a large, usually semi-hard bound book about 1" thick. If I can find one on ebay, I'll post the # here. Thought I'd better clarify that.

There would be no serial # on a plow. The easiest way to identify it is to look at a "year" book from the 30s or 40s. They have pictures of the machine plus a picture parts breakdown on all the machines they sold in that year. That's how I identified my sulky plow, which is what you have, and my cultivator. There are many models of sulky plows. John

Thanks John. I will see if I can come across a year book. Thanks for the info on it being a sulky plow. I have heard of them before but did not know what it was.
