G1000 LP is sluggish

I have a G1000 LP that is dead and sluggish under a load. The engine mechanically is good so I am looking at the governor or LP components as being the problem ? It will develop full RPM's and runs smoothly but does not respond very well when you start putting a load on it. It does even begin to develop the power it should.

Any thoughts on trouble shooting would be appreciated.

After our G1000 sat for the winter, we had a similar problem. We started to tear down the evaporator for the LP and noticed mud wasps had filled in the breather hole on the front side of of the evaporator. After it was cleaned out, the tractor ran fine.

I have a Case 930 that is doing a similar thing. Does your fuel system frost up anywhere? if so, you have a restriction at that point. Do you have the valve on the tank open far enough?

Are you running on vapor? If so you need to open the liquid valve and close the vapor valve for doing heavy work. These engines start well on vapor but don't make any power unless running on liquid. Hope this helps.
