Just wondering what anyone can tell me about the Comfortractor. I think I saw a junker in a yard. It has the sleek factory cab. What models had this cab. What are these worth? Anything special to look for? I understand there were onlt 125 built, is this true. What are the differences between the UDLX, UTX, UOPN?

It was suppose to be a tractor you could drive in to town after you got done farming. It had two seats and as many options as a car of that day. Very few were made as they were very pricy. A cab that looked very similar to the comfortractor were put on there tractors a few years later. They also had a sped up transporation. One was in the for sale adds for over 100,000 dollars. It is unlikely you found one but if you did I would snatch it up quick. AL

150 UDLX's-UOPN's were built and around 80 are still around yet counting anything with a serial # plate.

The UOPN's didnt come with a cab but it could be added later.

Value-anywhere from $25,000-125,000.

The comforttractor was the UDLX built in 1938. It was really a "U" but the gears in the transmission were a little faster than a regular "U". I think the shift pattern was different than a regular "U" also. Serial number plate would be located on the right side of the transmission case about where the belt pulley would mount. Right side if setting on tractor....deadeye

There is a restored one at a show in PA that I have been to. A sign on it says very few made and even fewer around now (125 sounds right). It has front fenders like a car and windshield wiper on it. I don't know much about MM but it is apparently rare. If you did indeed find one I would try to save it. Good luck.
