I have a set of four of these rods and pictons.....I'm pretty sure they are out of some MM tractor...but I don't know MM that well since I'm a farmall guy...

Piston: 3 5/8", casting no. RE 255

Rod: Casting number RE 307 MM Made in USA

Can anyone identify the specific model?
Thanks
Kenny

The rod #s are for the 206 used in the ZA-ZB series, the piston casting # I don't find in my catalogue but they are for the 206 also. The 206 uses the same cyl, 3 5/8 bore as the R, "EE", and Z, "RE" engines. There were 2 casting #s for the cylinders, RE 101 and 10A1462.

They are Z piston sand rods. An R used alu. pistons with a raised step.

Both the model "R", and the Model "Z" had 3 5/8 bore.
