got a nice rtu from my old boss for helping him out ina jam. tin is straight some one hacked around the exhaust a little bit and notched the side panel probably for an altanator both spots are real fixable carb needs to be gone thru and valves need to be adjusted and painted the right color I wat to go play at the pulls and see how it does . is there a meeting this weekend? let me know mm

Congratulations on your tractor. Just wondering how you intend to fix the cuts around the muffler? My UTs has had some minor cutting done around the muffler. Thought about trying to weld in a piece and recut it to correct size, but would require some body filler. Concerned about heat in this area from the muffler. Mine is only cut a little, so actually thought about just smoothing out the cuts that someone else did and just leave it a little larger hole than original. Any ideas?

I'll probably fill the hole with new metal and re cut the hole I think if you use good quality filler you should be safe I check and see what my paint/body shop supplier says after all it does'nt ruin the paint in that area from the heat and it does directly touch it either
