g1000 lp, what are the two valves for? upper and lower. witch one do you run on? whats the other one for?

Don't have G1000 book either but it should be the same as a G1050 & G1350 LP with the TOP valve = VAPOR and LOWER valve = LIQUID. Like John said you want to start and shut off on vapor and only run on liquid when warm. The liquid won't vaporize unless the engine coolant flowing through vaporizer is warm. Running on vapor before you shut down reduces the pressue in tank also allowing it to fill easier later. Usually the filler valve on tank towards front is the larger LIQUID filler valve and back valve is Vapor return valve. Small valve is to release liquid when tank is full at 80 percent.

Best to get an operators manual. Basic LP: start and shut off engine on VAPOR, after warm, switch to liquid for ultimate power, when done with work, shut off liquid, turn on vapor, let run to cool down, shut off engine on vapor. As far as the valves, there should be a marking on the tank to tell which is which. I don't have a book to look at to help you with identification. John
