Howdy again all,

Looking for torque specs for the following fasteners
Cam bearing bolts - Rod Bearings - Block to Crankcase bolts - Head bolt torque - Rocker arms - Crankcase inspection place -

We're still waiting on a manual, so I appreciate any help you all could provide.

That ought to get us past tomorrow...
Thanks!
Jared Jeffries

Rods caps are 70 - 75 ft. lbs. Cylinder head bolts are 95 - 100 ft. lbs.
All the other items you listed are not given in the I & T manual. The only thing it states it tighten securely. Also a work of avise and that is not to tighten the side cover on the crankcase too tight because they warp so easy and will leak. I just tighten it to a good snug fit just when you see the cork smash down it is time to quit.

I think the main cap bolt torque is in my I/T manual. I think i have see a flywheel bolt torque in there too.

in the back of some of the old Chilton manuals there was a standardized torque chart for graded fastners. (Some times you can't use this chart because of the particular application of the bolt. It does however properly tension the fastner itself.) I usually refer to it for the camshaft caps and block to crankcase bolts.

This is to supplement what Kevin posted:

MM 206 torque specs (Foot pounds):

Flywheel: 80
Mains: Gas and lp. : 60-65
Diesel #1 and #2 90-100, #3 60-65 (I think #1 and #2 are 1/2 inch bolts
On Diesels)
Rods: 70-75
Heads: 95-100

Be sure to oil the threads! Dry, 95-100 ft lb. is about all a 1/2"-20 stud can stand.

My manuals are at the farm. If someone doesn't send you the info by Sunday, I'll have it for you.

Thanks again,
