Also U built up through 1952 were 6 volt
UB beginning 1953 was 12 volt. Both were positive ground

Main difference U has hand clutch, UB has foot clutch.

A few major spotting differences, UB vs U:

- The UB�s seat and steering wheel are positioned much higher
- The UB is foot clutched (vs U�s hand clutch)
- The UB hood tin is different (does not have the U�s side louvers)

There are additional, less obvious differences in stuff like instrument panel, control handles placement, engine horsepower, etc.
