Type of Oil For 3-Speed Ampli-Torque

I am working on a 1970 M-670 with a 3- speed ampli-torque. The oil that i drained out looks like 90 wt. Is that the right oil? Or should it have the hydraulic-transmission type oil in it? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Mike

Did you say 3 speed Ampli-torque? The ones we have only have two speeds, direct and underdrive. Just curious. We had a MM G955 w/ 3 speed Oliver rear end which worked nice plowing and baling hay.

All Ampli-torque sprauge clutches work best with Universal transmission hyd oil. This was specified when G1000 came out.
