I have a project and a half at our farm: a 1951 MM UTS that was flipped. Aside from a nearly-siezed engine and a broken-off engine axle-mount and mainifold, there is no seat frame.

I have a old pan seat from a implement that I got from a scrap pile, but I notice the seat from other UTS models look a little more... Shall we say "Fancy"?

Besides, I might use it for raking hay, and from what I hear, this might be a good tractor for it, and I want some comfort :).

Since me and my dad have some "Skillz" in metalworking, I would want to try and make it.
What are the dimentions of the seat frame?

Where are you located? I might have enough parts from a float-ride seat to put one together.

I'm in B.C. Canada.

I think I have all the parts for the shock. It's mainly the actual seat frame that is missing. The old farmer who had it probably never threw it out, but I can't seem to find it anyhow...

I was thinking if I wanted to be a little out of the box, I could buy a "Delux" seat for a riding mower and mount it.
