Just started taking the carb apart on my U302 and realized someone brazed shut the port for idle adjustment screw. Guess thats why it wasn't idling all that well. Anyone have a spare top half of a carb for sale?

Thanks

Is it actually brazed shut, or is the brass adjustment screw broken off in there? Either way, I would think it could be salvaged by some carefull drilling and tapping.

I worked on a brazed back together carb on a J. The problem is the holes the screw meters might be corrupted with brass/flux and they are supposed to be exact size for the engine. And probably the info on the hole sizes is pretty much gone in the last 40 years.
