Just pulled a set of weights off an Avery B I think. They have a number cast in them that is:
130014. I did a little quick measuring and they may fit my Allis C. I"m wondering are they generic or Avery/MM specific? Haven"t weighed them yet, but guessing 75-100lbs. Any info appreciated. Thanks Joel

Well it was a smallish tractor, A, yes must be an A that's close to B. Must be to same in my mind today. If I'm still wrong let me know where to find serial number and I'll try that route. Might look at some pictures to verify again. Regardless is the casting number an Avery or MM part number? Thanks Joel

The serial number is usually stamped on top of the right hand frame rail. On Avery Rs its stamped back near the footrest. On Vs its stamped up beside the carb/air cleaner. I don't know the exact location for an A.
As far as the weights go, I don't know. The wheel was probably made by a vendor like Electric Wheel for both the Allis B and the Avery.

Can't help with numbers. The Avery V is a very small wide front single row cultivating tractor same as the MM V, same tractor except paint and decals, then the Avery A is the mid size Avery most with single front wheel and will handle 2 row cultivators and 24" rear wheel, no comparable MM model, then The Avery R was the largest model Avery built, 2 row tractor with 28" wheels with the MM BF being the same tractor but with MM already having a model R tractor thay came up with the BF designation from the BF in B. F. Avery that was the full name and then the BG was a single row offset version of the BF with BG standing for B Garden

No model B Avery every made, only V, A, & R so what is it you took them off of? and as for the later MM versions there was no model B in there either just a V & BF or BG.
