Ethan Berry here. I think someone's been giving me way more credit than necessary. The Berrys have used M-M since Grandpa started farming in the late forties. I grew up on Dad's Jet Star 2 and Swartz L800 loader doing hay and multiple gardens. I started pulling on a 1939 Deere H until I got my R and U. Since then, I've owned probably about 30-35 M-M tractors and a few implements, not to mention some other colors. The Mopower Ranch is an assortment of a dozen or more running and non-running tractors with some rusty and greasy parts scattered about an acre-and-a-half just inside the Vermontville, MI city limits. For a 27 year old on a shoe string buget, it's a little piece of heaven. I like to keep track of what parts bolt to what models. After all, it's the interchangeability that makes M-M pretty convenient and unique (even though I love an old Johnny popper or smooth Olie as much as the next guy). The M-M knowledge (in that dusty file cabinet I call a brain) came from paying attention to much more experienced collectors and pullers. Folks like Henderson Power, Welters Farm Supply, Kevin Moschenrose, BMG, Lawrence Wilson, John Grandfield, Dieselbear, Motec Engineering, Wendell Everett, Richard Kenyon, Deur Implement, the Cotton family, Don Rice, the Cook family, and the late Bruce Mellema to name just a very few. Even a few from other colors like Marty Feldpausch and Gary Baker. So if someone tells you I know the most, they are only being polite. My knowledge comes from asking the right questions from people that have turned more wrenches and had more full pulls than I. No UDLX here, but a fella can daydream can't he? M-M folks are unique. Most of them seem to have grown up on prarie gold and continue to use them regularly. I don't think I have even met a M-M collector that wouldn't be happy to share storys, jokes, tech info, or even a six-pack. Anyway, I hope this answers your question.
