I just decided to buy a G on lp gas. It's a neat tractor, but these new fangled things with more than 2 cylinders are foreign to me. At least it has a hand clutch :). I'm into the JD 2 cyl. JDs but I used to have a U LP puller and I've been kickin'myself since the day that I sold it! Is there anything special that I need to be aware of on a G? What is the HP and CID of the G? How well do they pull a sled in stock form? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering if Cent. MIch. stood for Centerville Michigan. I used to be from Three Rivers Michigan - now live in Nebraska

I pull with a gas version and do very well. The weighting and tires are of prime importance. I left my E-Mail open if you would like further information.

i have a '52 GTB. my grandpa bought it new and used it to farm....pulled a 4 bottom plow with it. from what my dad and uncle have told me, the G needed weight, so they added fliud to the tires and the big wheel weights that were used on G's. it was used in Kansas and i guess of lot of G's were sold in the area because of the power and no need for a row crop tractor.
