G-1355 Hydrualic Problems

About 40 hours back we noticed only one of our hydraulic remotes on our G-1355 would release pressure when you shut the tractor off so you could lower your implement; then about 10 hours back it got to where both of them will not release pressure and about the same time the hydraulic tempterature light would come on after 20-30 minutes of operation whether we we pulling our sprayer and running its hydrulic pump constantly or if we were mowing with it and not using the hydraulics constantly. Talked to a couple of MM servicemen and one said that its the remote valves that are the problem, the other said, the remote valves are fine, and that the tractor was set at the factory so you could not lower your implement after the tractor was shut off. Some kind of a safety issue he said. I'm at a place where I'm stuck and don't know what to do to fix the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a 1355 and have had it for about 9 years and ours will not let you lower anything when the engine is shut off.
