I suggest you double check the serial # you posted. 552505 is for a 1944 KEF engine in a U tractor. I think you might have the 2nd and 3rd digits swapped which would make 525505 and would be a 1934 KEA engine which could be either an MT or MTA. Check the side of the trans housing for the tractor serial # tag as MM used seperate engine and tractor serial #s. Your description does sound like an MT or MTA. If so, it should have a steering rod going down the left side to a large crank arm attached to the front end. MT's are quite collectable as not many seemed to have survived. MTA's are more common but still not too many around. Value depends on location and condition.

Sounds like a MTA, Does it have drop down axles?
