I always thought it would be cool to put ZAS standard axles on a ZB. It would be high and narrow, though. Anybody got ZAS axles?

When MM came out with the UB tractors in about 1953 or so, they continued to build a standard U (UTS). They changed the 1953 model from the earlier models by going to 12 volt electrical systems and changing to disk brakes from the old band brakes. They published a brochure on the new UB as well as a brochure on the U (UTS) standard.

Sometime in about 1955 MM built a new UB series called UB Special. Those tractors had a flat grill on the front and most had built in power steering. At that time they changed the U standard (UTS) to a new name.
They started calling them UTS special. They had the same updated as the UB specials. There was a brochure published on the UB special and another published on the UTS special.
