ub diesel blown head gasket?

started it up today after not running sinse summer and there was a laod hiss comming from motor is it possible the head gasket blew I was using starting fluid to start it because it is cold out it ran fine and after I shut it off after running for a half an hout or so there was no anti freeze in the oil and it ran fine. what is up help roland

i wouldnt doubt it blew...i did same to my D17 few months back...was running great until i used starting fluid one morning...blew gasket between 4-5
