Does anyone have any information on the export of Moline Model D Tractors to Australia between 1917 and 1923?

And any details about this type of tractor in particular?

Details I know about the Moline Universal D"

Manufactured by: Moline Plow Co, Moline, Illinois, USA,(one of the three companies that merged in 1929 to form Minneapolis-Moline Power Implement Company)The Model D was never sold by the Minneapolis-Moline Co after its formation.

Hp: 9-18...that's 9 drawbar and 18 belt hp

Weight: 3380 lbs

Rated to pull a two bottom plow

Features: self starter, electric lights, engine governor, overhead valves, four cylinder, differential lock, reverse

Turning radius: 16 feet

One-man tractor, 98 percent of the weight is used for traction because the engine is mounted in front over the two steel pulling wheels. Implements are attached to the back and the operator sits over the implement and steers. (The Moline Universal Model D appears similiar to a Gravely walking tractor, only larger with a rider.)

Am looking for information regarding a Moline Universal II. I have a picture of my father on it pulling logs. I have been told that it was a Universal II although I have no other reference material than "Encyclopedia of American Farm Tractors" by C.H.Wendal 1992. The description on page 203 seems to fit what I know about the tractor, but there is no mention of the "II" in the write-up. I think he bought it in about 1922.
If you can give any more details on this tractor, I would appreciate it. Jack
