just picked up a 455 ut. 1956 runs drives excellent..has factory loader i have questions about the operation of the controls..it seems they all interact with each other..two levers.below the seat rh side by the 3 point lift.anyway to convert to a two stick operation to control the bucket and another to control the liftlike newer tractors? ? and can the pump be modified to produce faster lift? pretty slow, nice old tractor rides like you are on a cushion..gregg

You may be able to get a larger pump from a 5star, I don't know-better get a second opinion.

I think your tractor is a 445. You are kinda limited to what you can do, on the original system as the pump is plumbed through the rear of the transmission case. Only certain pumps fit and I don't know of any other applications other than MMs.

If you can find the engine side mounted pump and crankcase cover off a Brown Mule, it'll have a greater capacity, be constant running, and make the loader independent of the 3 point hitch. Just a thought.
