Out of my case territory here. Was wondering what the 206 engine out of a uni harvestor fits? I see the 445, jetstar, 3 star and 4 star but was wondering about the u-302 and 335? Harvestor has a good motor and would like to restore a tractor vs. the harvestor. Any help would be appreciated.

It depends on whether the Uni 206 engine has a 3 bolt starter or a slip in starter what you can put it in easily.

The 335, 445, most 4 Stars, most JetStars & Big MOs use a slip in starter & the flywheel & ring gear to match. The Jet Star 3s & some late 4 Stars, JetStars & Big MOs use the 3 bolt starter & flywheel & ring gear to match. You can swap the two types freely if you use the correct flywheel, ring gear and starter on these models. I have a 3 bolt engine in my early 4 Star that originally had a slip in starter. I used a Jet Star 3 flywheel, ring gear and starter & it works fine. I also have a 206 from a brown mule in my 335 backhoe that works fine.

The U302 has a flywheel which is different from the others because of the way the PTO drive hub mounts & can only use the three bolt engine with a U302 flywheel & ring gear.

Hope this helps

John

yes it will fit in Jet star, 445, 335. I have one in a jet star 3. Are you interested in selling the Uni whole??? I would be interested in it if you are.

Thanks Matt Lansing

its a stationary engine with clutch and pulley drive...throwout bearing is making some noise but the engine is quiet...its running on propane but its not factory...just the carb was changed.
