The first diesel jet star orchard is on auction Oct 29. They are selling it and several other tractors on the Internet. The auctioneers website is www.1800lastbid.com under the proxy bid section. They have a lot of nice tractors on there.

I sure hope this doesn't bring what the owners THINK it is worth. Knowing these guys, they will think it is worth what a UDLX is worth....

Mike,
They were sold together choice out take one or both. This resulted in the wide front being sold for $5200. Then they auctioned off the narrow front again as the bidder didn't take both at $5200 each. The nf brought $3700. So together they brought $8900. I think they went to the same place but I'm not sure on that.

It is sad to say but the 335's went to diferent homes. I wish they could have stayed together like they had for over 10 years. It was sad to see a lot of them go with all the memories. There wasnt any choice as this was my dads life insurance policy for my mom and myself and there was debt needing to be paid. All our tractors were sold NO reserve but not sure on the consigned items. I was hoping the orchard would have done a little more but I knew it wouldnt do what a UDLX brings even though it is more rare. I am glad that it wasnt a Case as a DO with most of the orchard dress sold 2 weeks ago in the area for just over $1,000. The sad part is when tractors have a low value it makes it imposible to restore. It seems the green and yellow tractors have the highest value. The 5 Star sold for over $1,000 less than we had in it without the auctioneer's comission. Several tractors sold below the cost of orgnial purchase and restoring cost. I hope the new owners enjoy them as much as we did.
