i have a 445 with a du all loader, i think the loader is a 325 or 350 something like that. anyway, the brackets that come down from the main rear loader posts attach to the three bolts on the front of each side of the tractor. is this the best place to mount or can i make a bracket that will mount into the front bolts under the radiator, like where a front weight bracket would be. i keep having trouble with the three bolts on each side at i bend the brackets i have every now and then, and there is not enough room around the power steering side to make a bigger bracket.
thanks
Gary

I have a set of factory mounts for the L800 loader for on a 445 Universal or 4 Star. They are made from about 3" by 1/2" bar stock. There is one piece that is bent into a box about 4" wide and about 18" long. The back and bottom of this bracket has another piece of similar material welded in to form a box about 3x4x18. I think there is another piece near the center inside for support also. I didn't go measure it but this is from memory. This box bolts to the three holes on each side of the front casting & then the front of the loader frame bolts to it. The dimension from outside of one box to the outside of the other box is similar to the width of the bolt pads at the clutch housing. I think it is a little wider. It must be the same width as the front frame on a Jet Star 3 since the same loader will fit it also. These brackets have never bent or caused any trouble.
