A 206G-4 is the correct engine for the ZB tractor.
5 forward speeds, operator sits above the transmission, foot clutch, steering wheel in column centered on the tractor. I grew up on a ZB and its a pretty good tractor.
The tractor serial tag should be on the right side, above but near the belt pulley hole in the transmission.

I'm thinking the 206H was the correct engine for a 445, as it had overhead valve heads.

Cindi,
The 206G-4 engine was made from 1953 to 1959 and was commonly used in the 445 tractor. If you post the serial # on the id tag from the engine I can tell you what year it was made. But if you want to know for certain what model and year tractor you have then find the MM id plate on the side of the transmission (RH side I believe on the 445). It should ba a model B1 if its a 445.

Cindi,
MM tractors have two serial number tags, an engine SN tag, and a chassis SN tag. The 206B4 tag you listed is from the engine tag and denotes a 206 cubic inch displacement engine with 4 (four) cylinders.

Look for an identical looking tag located on the tractor transmission (located behind the engine tag)and post the serial number information from that tag. That tag list the model information in code followed by the chassis serial number. With that info we can give you your year and model... (model meaning size of tractor and other info).
